Part of what got me back into painting was applying to become an instructor with the local paint and sip studio Let's Paint! Most of the job involves instructing paintings the studio already has. However, one of my favorite parts of working there is coming up with new paintings for the studio. The owners are fantastic people, and frequently go out of their way to take care of their instructors. One of the ways they go above and beyond, is allowing us to retain the copyright to any works we make for the studio.
